Our busy little one

We have had yet another busy week. I thought I would post early this week since Brian & I are getting away to Vegas to celebrate our 5 year anniversay! We leave tomorrow (thurs.) morning and get back saturday afternoon. I am totally excited but know that I will sooo miss Cassidy (pathetic, I know).
Cassidy was busy this week in the sun, at the beach and dancing. Her new favorite thing is dancing all around the house. If I could figure out how to do a video on this site, I will. But I am afraid that may be way too high-tech for me!

We have been very busy!

So I thought I would post again since we have had a busy, busy week! For starters, it was Cassidy's cousin Abby's first birthday party. By the end of the evening, we had to pry Cassidy away from the jumpy they had in the yard. At first she wouldn't even get near it and then we would turn around and she was in all by herself! She just loved it! I think we may have to get one for her 2nd birthday party.

Then she discovered the piano at Uncle "tev" and Aunt "ana" house. She is quite the little musician.

Then we had family in town from the midwest. Granny Tucker's brother met Cassidy for the first time. So we took a family trip to the Wild Animal Park. Cass is totally in love with "amals" or animals as we call them. She thought it was really cool that she got to sit in the wheelchair with "busha," her great-grandma. She even took her first bus tour of the park. She screamed at first but once we started moving and saw some animals, she loved it!

We finally caught up with the times!

So I finally decided that Cassidy deserved a better website to show off her cuteness! For those of you who know me well, this is a huge step for me! I am totally technologically disordered so this took a lot of time for me to create- but Cass is worth it!

As for the family, we are doing great. Actually, we couldn't be better. Brian and I are both off for the summer so we have had lots and lots of family bonding time. I think Cassidy is loving it but getting too use to it. Going back to work at the end of August is going to be hard on all of us! But we are definitely not complaining.....

Cassidy is just about 21 months old now and a ton of fun. She is a ball of energy and a total ham. She is beginning to go through this awkward shy phase (we hope its only a phase) which cracks the family up because she is totally not shy! Her favorite things right now are water, barney, animals, her baby doll and dancing on our bed.

We hope you enjoy the website. I will do my best to update regularly. I am sure I will be on top of it for the summer and may end of slacking when I go back to work.
