Christmas Eve

I posted about Christmas and totally forgot about posting about all our Christmas Eve festivities. We always start at Papa Steve & Grandma Kim's house with all the Baum's.I love this day!

We sang "Happy Birthday" to Baby Jesus with the cake that I made with Mommy. For those of you who don't know me well, I LOVE baby Jesus!

What a long day. It ended with me & Aunt Trisha listening to tunes on her phone. Then I crashed and waited for Santa!

Christmas Day events

Planning for Christmas was SO much fun this year. Cassidy really understood and was really excited. I was SO excited for her that I couldn't sleep and was up at 5am waiting for her to wake up. Of course she slept til after 7am and was still not completely awake when I was full of excitement!Here she is the night before posing with Santa's plate.

Here is what the grumpy girl looked like when she first saw everything. Poor thing was still not awake and I was making her pose with gifts!

She slowly started to get more excited and more awake.

Now she is excited to get her new CD, she LOVES music!

Family Picture Overload...

We had the most wonderful lady take our family pictures again this year. She really does a great, thorough job and was are SO happy with the results of Cassidy. It helps that Cassidy is a total natural in front of the camera since her Mommy has been a complete freak about taking pictures pretty much monthly since she was born! We took them at this adorable church by our house with a 'red' door. Here they are. Sorry for the increased number but I couldn't decide which ones to show since she took over 100 pictures!

A successful performance!

Tonight was my 2nd school performance of my life. Some of you may remember my 1st performance that I never did because I ran off the stage crying to Mom. Most of you know that I am SUPER shy so this is a challenge for me but guess what? This year I walked with my class on stage and sat through the entire performance (next to my best buddies Charlotte & Caleb). I know, I am big time now!I'm sorry the photo qualify is not good, but can you see me in the cute black dress in the front middle?
Here is a closer picture. I am even smiling and seem to be happy to be on stage. This is a BIG step for the shy-me.

Here I am skipping and bouncing on my way back to class because I am SO proud of myself. Mom also wants to point out how I am like a foot taller than most of my classmates!
