One of our fun summer excursions was to the Botanical Gardens with our neighbors and friends; Karen, Charlie and Chloe.
Here I am sitting in front of one of the gardens.
This is my friend Chloe, she is only two but we are great friends already.
Me and Charlie, he is 6 years old now. He is one of my best buddies, we have lots of fun playing together at Friday night happy hours (so do mommy & daddy)!
We even found a baby caterpillar on one of the paths. I love holding bugs thanks to Nanny!
Charlie and I had a blast splashing around in the mini river.
Mom wasn't sure if we were really allowed to go in this water but I told her I wouldn't tell anyone.
One of the gardens had this cool and obviously friendly frog. See me touching it? It hopped right over to us and sat there like he wanted to be petted. I think Charlie sat there for like 10 minutes touching him!
One garden had lots of different colored bushes. I had to take a picture with this purple one.
I was SO excited about this pink one!
We ended the day throwing pennies in the wishing pond. I wished for "more fun days with Charlie," "to go swimming," "a rainbow," and "a new dog."
